2024 TAC Meeting Notices
The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) has a total of 13 members with two members from each County District and three at-large members. Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC).
The primary purpose of the TAC is to review and make recommendations to the BCC on all elements of transportation, including roadways, trails, bikeways, transit, and pedestrian facilities. The TAC also makes recommendations on safety studies, road operations, and maintenance policies, including the road acceptance/abandonment process.
At its September 11, 2023, special meeting, the TAC recommended the formation of a Transportation Safety Subcommittee (TSS) to serve as a technical working group to review and provide oversight to the County's road safety plans and strategies with a focus on infrastructure, behavioral, and operational safety. The current members of this subcommittee are listed HERE.
