In an effort to address concerns related to frequent collisions at the intersection of CR-45/44 and NM-14, Santa Fe County has contracted with Lee Engineering, LLC to conduct a safety study analyzing the intersection and providing much needed safety recommendations. A community meeting will be held on October 30, 2024, at 5:30 pm at the Santa Fe County Public Safety Complex (35 Camino Justicia in the Multipurpose Conference Room) to discuss traffic safety recommendations and improvements. The community meeting will be moderated by County Commission Chairman, Hank Hughes (D-5) and County Commissioner Camilla Bustamante (D-3) and will feature representatives from the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, Public Works and the New Mexico Department of Transportation who will provide additional information regarding these roadways and answer questions.
