Santa Fe County presents the 2009 Santa Fe County Fair, August 2–9 at the County Fairgrounds (3229 Rodeo Road).
Activities, entertainment, exhibits, animals, and food will again highlight this year’s County Fair. Extensive indoor exhibits will feature the arts and crafts, gardens, and fashion. The price for family fun? A recession-friendly cost – free.

Sunday, August 2:4-H Horse Show-NNMHA arena
Monday & Tuesday, August 3 & 4:Check-in of all adult and youth indoor exhibits
Wednesday, August 5:Check in all 4-H/FFA animals
Thursday, August 6:Indoor exhibits open to the public, Rabbit Show, Cattle & Dairy Cattle Shows, Swine Show, and evening dance.
Friday, August 7:Poultry Show, Sheep Show, Meat & Dairy Goat Show, Fun with Agriculture Youth Reading Program, Llama Demonstration, and evening dance.
Saturday, August 8:4-H Dog Show, Round Robin Showmanship, Herding dog demonstration, Fun with Agriculture Youth Reading Program, Archery Contest, Salsa Contest, and Livestock Auction. Entertainment includes Baile Espanol, Mariachi Azteca, and an evening dance with the Craig Rivera Country Band.
Sunday, August 9:Small Pet Show, Chile Challenge, Barnyard Olympics
