Description: Santa Fe County is excited to announce that all seven Solid Waste Convenience Centers will waive “residential” waste disposal fees for residents in possession of an active solid waste permit on September 21, 2024 per Resolution No. 2024-035. This event occurs in tandem with the free residential solid waste disposal day at the Caja Del Rio Landfill, managed by the Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency. Providing free residential solid waste disposal is likely to reduce the amount of illegally dumped waste, providing a cleaner and safer Santa Fe County, and support and encourage participation in the Toss No Mass cleanup organized by the nonprofit Keep Santa Fe Beautiful (KSFB) in partnership with the Environmental Services and Parks and Open Spaces Divisions of the City of Santa Fe.
