Affordable Housing Ordinance Notice
TITLE AND GENERAL SUMMARY
OF A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2006-02 (THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ORDINANCE) TO PROVIDE AN AFFORDABILITY MORTGAGE OR LIEN IN THE AMOUNT OF SANTA FE COUNTY’S CONTRIBUTION PURSUANT TO THE NEW MEXICO AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE, OR PROPERTY
NOTICE OF PROPOSED PUBLIC HEARING AND POSSIBLE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given that on the 10th day of March, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. the Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing concerning possible adoption of an ordinance amending Ordinance 2006-02 (the affordable housing ordinance) to provide an affordability mortgage or lien in the amount of Santa Fe County’s contribution pursuant to the New Mexico Affordable Housing Act for infrastructure, down payment assistance, or property.
Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection in the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office, and copies of the proposed ordinance may also be obtained from the Attorney’s Office, second floor, Santa Fe County Courthouse, 102 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe.
During the meeting of March 10, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., the Board of County Commissioners may take action of the proposed ordinance.
All comments, questions and objections to the proposal may be submitted to the County Attorney, in writing, addressed to P.O. Box 276, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87504-0276.
