A contractor for the Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin road work on Agua Fria and San Felipe to improve the existing asphalt and place new base course surface material as part of the 2015 Annexation Project. Message boards are scheduled to be setup on June 22, 2015 to provide further notice of this road project to the public. The construction limits are as follows: - Willy Road to San Felipe- Road resurfacing
- Agua Fria/San Felipe curve to Camino Vista Verde- New base course placement
- Agua Fria/San Felipe curve to Airport Road- New road base and new asphalt surfacing
Road construction is slated to begin Monday, June 29, 2015 and is scheduled to be completed July 19, 2015, weather permitting. Work will begin daily at 7:00 am and conclude by 5:00 pm. Traffic control will be in place during the course of this work and there will be full access into this area and on to Airport Road. Please allow additional time to negotiate this work zone.
