Assessor’s Office Closed Friday, March 24, 2023
On Friday, March 24, 2023, The Assessor's Office is conducting an office training for staff and will be closing from 8am to 5pm. Training will be conducted during normal County business hours, and will include a one-hour lunch period for staff.
All employees who are present that day, will be required to attend the training.
The following will be discussed:
- NM State Statutes Training conducted by Charles Rennick, NM Local Government Law, LLC ( current cotmsel for our Office)
- Update & Presentation on each Department
- Post-Business Personal Property Review
- Pre-Protest Season/NOV Preparation
- Market Conditions -New subdivisions & Commercial properties
- Short Term Rentals
- Legislative Update (Bills that were introduced during 2023 Legislative Session)
- Team Building Exercises
