Avenida Amistad Paving Project (Commission District 5)
A contractor for the Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin road improvements on Avenida Amistad from Avenida Del Monte Alto to Avenida Buena Ventura. The project consists of construction of a new hot mix asphalt driving surface. The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 11, 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2018.
In order to accommodate the construction in a safe manner it will be necessary to reduce the work zone down to one lane during working hours. Flaggers will be controlling traffic in the work zone, please use caution. Access for the residents in this area will be allowed.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should expect minor delays and allow additional time to negotiate the work zone.
