BCC Special Meeting Summary (Sustainable Land Development Code) October 13, 2015
At its October 13, 2015 Special Meeting, County staff presented to the Board for consideration and direction a proposed fee ordinance, proposed amendments to the Sustainable Growth Management Plan (SGMP), a proposed 2015 Sustainable Land Development Code (SLDC) zoning map, proposed amendments to the SLDC that included zoning districts, a density bonus, 13 community district overlays, transfer of development rights and various textual amendments. The Board also approved a proposed Public Hearing, Notice, Adoption and Implementation Schedule.
At its October 27, 2015 meeting, the Board will consider authorization to publish title and general summary of the fee ordinance, an SLDC ordinance that contains all amendments and the final zoning map. Additionally, the Board will consider a resolution to adopt the final SGMP containing all amendments previously discussed.
