Business Registration Extension
Santa Fe – July 27, 2010 – Santa Fe County is experiencing a large volume of responses from the recent business registration audit and staff is experiencing a backlog in processing the business registrations. To help accommodate the local businesses and staff the original June 30, 2010 deadline has been extended to July 30, 2010.
If businesses are located in Santa Fe County and received a letter, but have not contacted Santa Fe County, they need to do so before July 30. All business applications and payments must be received by Friday, July 30 at 5 p.m.
“We appreciate the large response, patience, and cooperation from businesses in the area, the audit has been a long process and we are working to complete it in a timely manner,” said Helen Perraglio, Accounting Oversight and Financial Reporting Manager.
