“Police officers and sheriff’s deputies will be out on Tuesday patrolling for people who choose to drive under the influence, buzzed or drunk.  Don’t take a chance that you won’t be arrested, you will, don’t take a chance that you will crash and hurt yourself or somebody else, chances are that you will.  Call for a Cab Ride Home,” said Lupe Sanchez, Santa Fe County DWI Program Coordinator.

The Cab Ride Home service is offered Friday and Saturday nights and select holidays from 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m..  The Cab Ride Home program costs $5 for 1 or 2 people and $10 for 3 or more.  The DWI Program subsidizes the first $25 for these Cab Rides Home.

The Santa Fe County DWI Program wants everybody to Think SaFe, don’t drink and drive.  Take a Cab Ride Home instead.  Take a moment to remember that TwoTooMany means that you could lose your car to forfeiture when arrested a second time after at least one DWI conviction.
