CADDy Will Run on Cinco de Mayo

Santa Fe – May 5, 2010 – The Chauffer and Designated Driver Program (CADDy) will be available to residents, today for Cinco de Mayo (May 5). The CADDy provides safe transportation via the Capital City Cab to adults (ages 21 and over) from their residence to any location or from any location to their residence within the Santa Fe City limits for a minimal fee. The service will be available on from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am. The transportation cost is $5 for 1-2 people and $10 for 3 or more people. The cabs operate outside the city limits, but the rider is responsible for the cost from the city limit to the rider’s destination. Please note that if you utilize the CADDy service for Cinco de Mayo you must mention the CADDy program to receive the discounted rate, the program is normally only available on Friday and Saturday nights.

“We strongly encourage any resident that will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo to be safe and responsible, use the CADDy as your designated driver,” Rebecca Beardsley, Santa Fe County DWI Planning Council Coordinator.
