Caja Del Rio Project Will Start on Monday, August 27
Santa Fe, NM – August 23, 2012 - Santa Fe County would like to notify residents along the Caja Del Rio corridor that construction on the Caja Del Rio Project will start on Monday, August 27, 2012 and is scheduled to be completed approximately July of 2013.
The improvements will consist of:
- Widening the current road width to accommodate bike lanesInstallation of a 96” culvert
- Mill and overlay the existing road surface on the section of road north of Wildlife Way through the Santa Fe County’s Maintenance boundary
- Completely reconstruct the road from the Caja Del Rio/599 Frontage road, beginning north of the existing cattle guard north to Wildlife Way
Albuquerque Asphalt, Inc. is the contractor for the road improvements to Caja Del Rio Project. The contactor has set up message boards on the shoulder of Caja Del Rio to inform the north and south bound traffic of the construction project.
