Call for Artists - Mural Project in Rio En Medio
Call for Artists
Santa Fe County Teen Court is seeking artists for a project at the Rio en Medio Community Center to be completed prior to June 30, 2016. The project is for a wall (attached images) that has been littered with graffiti over the past several months. The wall in its entirety is 150 ft. long. The total budget (including supplies and labor) is $3,000 for this project.
The County will supply an anti-graffiti sealant after the mural is complete. Teen Court will provide youth to assist and learn from the lead artist for the duration of the project.
Teen Court is asking artists to submit a proposal of a design they feel would be appropriate for the area and location. The County will then select the proposal they feel would be most suitable.
