Call for volunteer fisher-persons to assist with Kid\‘s Fishing Clinic
Santa Fe County Open Space and Trails Program and the Santa Fe Watershed Association in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish and the City of Santa Fe will sponsor a kid’s fishing clinic. We are looking for fisher-persons to assist with the clinic. The clinic will take place on Saturday, May 30th at Alto Park (Also known as the 'Bicentennial Park'), located at 1043 Alto Street.
We need lead volunteers who will also bring a fisher-person volunteer with them. Of those volunteers we need one of them to be a fly fisher who comes prepared to tie flies or to bring one of their volunteers, who will tie flies and help participants tie flies. (We will provide the materials and gear). The training for the volunteers will begin at 1:15 pm. (The clinic starts at 2:00).
To volunteer, if you have any questions or if you would like additional information, please contact Mikki at the Santa Fe Watershed Association via email at mikki@santafewatershed.orgor via phone at 820-1696.
