Canada Ancha (County Road 94) in Chimayo Closed for Erosion Control Construction
Chimayo, NM – June 12, 2012 – The Santa Fe County Public Works Department is currently constructing erosion control measures for the newly placed culvert on the west side of Canada Ancha (CR 94) located at the intersection of Camino de Los Vigils (CR 129). The section of road immediately in advance of the erosion control construction on Canada Ancha (CR 94) between El Potrero Road (CR 94A) and Camino Rio Chimayo will be closed to vehicular traffic from Wednesday, June 13 until Wednesday, June 20.
Residents to the south of this area on Canada Ancha (CR 94) will have access to their residential driveways at all times, however will need to utilize El Potrero Road (CR 94A). Residents to the north of this area will continue to have access via Canada Ancha (CR 94).
Drivers should expect a full detour and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone. Thank you in advance for your continued patience and cooperation.
