Catastrophic Flooding Assistance Completed

 

On July 23, 2018 Santa Fe County experienced catastrophic flooding that affected many County residents.  On August 1, 2018 the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2018-73, declaring an emergency.  This Emergency Resolution allowed County crews and equipment to enter private property to assist residents with cleaning up their properties of sediment and debris.  The emergency no longer exists and County crews will not be available for assistance on private property as a result of this event, effective September 21, 2018.  Assistance initiated prior to September 21, will be completed.

 

  • Labor Hours -  approximately 3,000 hours
  • Debris -  hauled approximately 1,500 tons to the landfill
  • Estimated cost of clean-up $350,000.00
