Santa Fe – June 2, 2009 – The Santa Fe County Open Space & Trails Program invites residents to celebrate National Trails Day by attending the National Trails Day event sponsored by the County Open Space & Trails Program, Santa Fe Conservation Trust, and the City of Santa Fe on Saturday, June 6 from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon at the north end of the Railyard Park (next to SITE SF).

Residents can:

• Win free raffle items from Travel Bug, Bike n’ Sport, REI, and Sangre de Cristo Mountain Works
• Meet volunteers from the Trails Alliance of Santa Fe—fun folks helping to keep Santa Fe’s trails in great shape
• Get free trail maps and discount coupons from local outdoor gear merchants
• Vote for the favorite trail—, which one will win?
• Learn ways to improve their on-trail experience!
