Change Your Reality Youth Conference, Registration Deadline May 31
Santa Fe – May 25, 2010 – Santa Fe County would like to remind residents the registration deadline for the second annual Change Your Reality Conference is May 31, 2010. This FREE conference is designed to empower youth to make a difference in their community and will be held June 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and June 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Santa Maria De La Paz Catholic Community Hall. Youth participants ages 12-15 living is Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Torrance Counties are eligible to attend the conference. This year’s conference is themed after the key issues taken from last year’s conference evaluation and includes workshops, keynote speakers and entertainment. Parents/Guardians will be required to sign their child in and out each day
“We are hoping that all adults will encourage any youth they know to participate in this conference and encourage them to empower themselves,” said Diolinda Roybal, Santa Fe County DWI Prevention Specialist.
