Clerk\‘s Office Dispels Rumors; All Residents Can Still Participate in General Election If They Register to Vote

Despite rumors to the contrary, Santa Fe County residents who are registered but did not vote in the Primary Election in June are still fully eligible for the General Election. The deadline for voter registration for the General Election is October 7.  The County Clerk’s office has received reports of rumors regarding deadlines for voter registration and the ability for voters to vote in the General Election who did not participate in the primary election.
