Community Invited to 2009 Green Building Summit and EXPO
Santa Fe County invites the community to the 2009 Green Building Summit & EXPO being held October 23 – 25 at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. The Summit portion is scheduled for October 23-24 with 8 tracks of education over two days. It is intended for business professionals in the fields of Building, Architecture, Residential Designing, Residential Real Estate Brokering, Residential Real Estate Appraising, Home Inspecting, Lending, and Home Energy Rating. The program features three national speakers as well as a multitude of other professionals speaking on numerous related topics. There are many CEU's available for several professions. The conference will focus on the latest information on new building codes, building methods, certifications, health issues in buildings, valuing green features in homes, and selling and marketing green homes.
Simultaneously, the Green Building EXPOsition will be held on October 24-25 with over 70 booths of the latest green building materials, technologies, and methods. Several workshops are free to the public and admission to the 2 day EXPO is also free.
