Community Meetings on Capital Improvement Projects, Including the November 6 General Obligation Bond Election

COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, INCLUDING THE NOVEMBER 6 GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION

Santa Fe – August 17, 2012 - Santa Fe County invites the public to a series of community meetings to provide an overview of the County’s Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) planning process. County staff will also solicit input from citizens on infrastructure and capital projects to be submitted to the New Mexico Legislature for funding consideration. Examples of improvements are: streets, roads and bridges, water, wastewater, storm water, affordable housing, planning and design, community service facilities, and parks and trails. The meeting will also include the upcoming November 6th General Obligation Bond Election regarding funding of roads, water, and parks, open space and trail projects.

All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are open to the public. Citizens may attend any of the following meetings, regardless of where they reside in the County.

North County Area – Wednesday, August 22

Pojoaque Satellite Office - Areas: Nambe, Tesuque, Pojoaque, Arroyo Seco, La Puebla, Chimayo
