County Constructs New Low Water Crossing at Arroyo Alamo West and El Sitio Intersection
Santa Fe County Public Works Division will begin constructing a low water crossing at the intersection of Arroyo Alamo West and El Sitio Road in La Puebla on August 27, 2008. This work will be done all at once and is expected to last approximately 3 weeks. The intersection will be closed off completely and traffic will be detoured to expedite the construction with minimal overall disruption to traffic. Arroyo Alamo West will be closed off to local traffic and residents who live on the west side of the crossing will need to utilize El Sitio Road north to access their residences. El Sitio Road south of the low water crossing will be closed to local traffic.
Residents should allow additional time, use caution, and expect delays. For more information, contact Lonny Montoya at 992-3010.
