County Creates Arts, Culture and Entertainment Task Force; Seeks Community Members to Serve
The Santa Fe County Growth Management Department (Planning and Development Division) is seeking qualified individuals to serve on the newly created Arts, Culture and Entertainment Task Force (ACE) Task Force. The Board of County Commissioners is charging the Task Force with development of an arts, entertainment and culture policy for Santa Fe County.
Qualifications include: members of the community who live or conduct business in Santa Fe County and who are familiar with the arts, cultural activities and entertainment events either as participants, organizers or funders. The ACE Task Force will be composed of at least nine participants who will be tasked with the assessment of all arts, culture and entertainment activities and organizations in the County and examining the role of ACE activities in relation to the County’s plans and community development needs. The Task Force will also be tasked with identifying legislation, policies and programs which affect ACE activities and identification of funding sources and policy options.
