County Road 98 (Juan Medina Road) Road Widening Project

Santa Fe, NM – May 20, 2011 – The Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin the road widening project for County Road 98 (Juan Medina Road) on Monday, May 23, 2011. The road widening construction will consist of widening the west shoulder of County Road 98 ( Juan Medina Road), extending from the New Mexico 503 intersection north to the Chimayo Fire Station. The project is expected to last approximately 63 working days.

This project will enhance pedestrian and bicyclist safety, provide additional shoulder width for the motoring public traveling along County Road 98 and will increase safety during the yearly pilgrimage to Santuario.

Motorists should expect short delays and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone. Santa Fe County would like to thank residents in advance for their patience and cooperation during this road widening project.
