In adherence to the US Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations, Santa Fe County road maintenance personnel will no longer be allowed to enter waterways such as: flowing rivers, arroyos (wet or dry), or acequias which tie into waterways.  No type of work is allowed in said waterways (i.e. materials being excavated or placed without proper permits and documentation).
