As part of its Transparency Plan, Santa Fe County has implemented a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) system on its website to create an easier and more thorough flow of information to the community in real time.  RSS is a file format designed to allow subscribers to access news and recently published information without having to visit the actual website. When new information (news articles, new job postings, agendas, etc.) is posted to the site, subscribers are alerted with automatic updates. These automatic updates, known as RSS Feeds, consist of a headline, brief summary, and a link to the full text.
