Please join Santa Fe County, the City of Santa Fe Parks Division, and the Santa Fe Conservation Trust for the unveiling the first of the new and improved trail head signs for the Dale Ball Trails.  The unveiling will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Sierra de Norte parking lot (located of Hyde Park Rd.). There will be a ribbon cutting, followed by a guided hike. 

All five of the Dale Ball trailheads will receive new signs with updated trail information over the next year.  The signs will make the trails safer and easier to navigate.

The funding for three of the trailhead signs came from a grant Santa Fe County was awarded by the New Mexico Tourism Department - NM Clean and Beautiful. Keep Santa Fe Beautiful provided the funding for the remaining two. The City of Santa Fe shared the trailhead sign design and will install all of the signs.

The celebration is coordinated with National Public Lands Day, which is Saturday, September 26.
