Dollars4Schools and Santa Fe County Youth Development Center Partner to Create an Environment of Community Support for Student Success

 The Santa Fe Community Foundation recently announced a partnership with the Santa Fe County Youth Development Center through the Dollars4Schools initiative, as a shared commitment to student success and community collaboration. Dollars4Schools will provide funding for programs designed to enrich the lives of Santa Fe’s youth through education. Dollars4Schools will provide the financial support for ARTsmart programming within the Center for the next 12 months.

Throughout the upcoming year, ARTsmart’s unique methodology will provide students within the Santa Fe County Youth Development Center with invaluable learning lessons and an appreciation for the value of art knowledge they will treasure throughout their life.

Dollars4Schools’ Project Director, Ona Johnson, explains, “Dollars4Schools identifies the need to provide students with the essential tools they need to succeed, and we are pleased to
partner with the Santa Fe County Youth Development Center in support of student success throughout the upcoming year.”

Dollars4Schools recently applauded the good work of Pablo Sedillo III, Public Safety Director and Aaron Garcia, Youth Services Administrator as being community partners in the shared commitment to student success and community collaboration.

Dollars4Schools, an initiative of the Santa Fe Community Foundation, is a web-based program focused on addressing and meeting the funding requests of Santa Fe’s Public School Teachers and the basic needs of Students in 36 Santa Fe schools.
