DWI Saturation Patrol Scheduled
Sheriff Robert Garcia announces that on Friday, December 31, 2010, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office will have extra deputies on duty for the New Year’s Eve celebration. Sheriff Garcia states that these extra deputies will be conducting a DWI Saturation Patrol and will be conducted in central Santa Fe County. Additional deputies will be scheduled on New Year’s Eve and will be looking for impaired drivers. Sheriff Garcia would like to remind people NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE as there are other means to get home after an evening of ringing in the New Year. Use a designated driver, call a cab or use the Santa Fe County DWI Program’s Caddy Program. Sheriff Garcia reminds you as always, watch your speed and make sure you and all your passengers in the vehicle are wearing their seatbelts.
