DWI Saturation Patrol’s Scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend

Sheriff Greg Solano announced starting on Friday, May 28, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office will have extra deputies on duty for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Sheriff Solano stated the extra deputies will be conducting DWI Saturation Patrols and the Saturation Patrols will be conducted in Northern Santa Fe County. DWI Deputies, along with the deputies who are working regularly assigned shifts on Memorial Day Weekend will be looking for impaired drivers. Sheriff Solano would like to remind people NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE and please use a designated driver, call a cab or use the Santa Fe County DWI Program’s Caddy Program (505) 995-9528. In addition, watch your speed and make sure all passengers in your vehicle are wearing an approved occupant restraint device.
