Edgewood Open Space Public Meeting, May 5
Santa Fe, NM – April 29, 2011- Santa Fe County and Surroundings Studio will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, May 5 at 5 p.m. at the Edgewood Community Center to present the preliminary design for the Edgewood Open Space. The 30 acres of County open space is located adjacent to the Wildlife West along the I-40 frontage road.
Santa Fe County purchased this property in September 2000 as part of the open space and trails inventory. After reviewing a draft conceptual plan from the Town of Edgewood, the Open Space and Trails program has contracted Surroundings Studio to complete a design for an equestrian rest stop, trail head parking and picnic area.
Residents are encouraged attend the meeting, see what is planned for the Edgewood Open Space and provide feedback.
