Exploratory Excavation to Determine Cause of Water leak on Los Pinos Road
A contractor for the Santa Fe County Public Works Department will begin exploratory excavation work on Wednesday, August 19 to determine the cause of a water leak on Los Pinos Road.
In order to accommodate this construction in a safe manner, it will be necessary to close the section of Los Pinos Road (County Road 54 east of County Road 54B, the road to the La Cienega Transfer Station) and west of Loma del Tanque to vehicular traffic. This section of road will be completely closed during the daylight hours for the duration of the project, which is expected to last up to two days, weather permitting.
During the course of this construction the contractor will ensure that all properties in the immediate area of construction will be accessible at all times.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to seek an alternate route, expect a full detour and allow additional time to negotiate this work zone.
