Friends of Rio en Medio Announces Stakeholder Meeting to Discuss Trail and Area Management
Santa Fe, NM – The Friends of Rio en Medio will host a stakeholder meeting to engage the community in discussions about the future of the Rio en Medio Trail and other management issues in the Rio en Medio area. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Rio en Medio Community Center (1 El Alto Chupadero, NM 87506).
The meeting strives to create collaborative discussion and bring together various stakeholders and community members to address concerns, explore opportunities, and develop a plan for the future.
Key representatives from multiple levels of government and organizations will attend, including the Santa Fe National Forest, Santa Fe County, State Representatives, the State Land Office, and the Santa Fe Conservation Trust. The meeting will include a segment for these agency representatives to share their perspectives and priorities regarding the trail and its management.
Community members are strongly encouraged to participate by sharing their interests and concerns during this meeting. Your input is crucial in shaping the future of the Rio en Medio area.
