Great American Clean-Up E-Waste Day
Santa Fe, NM – April 10, 2013 - Santa Fe County will host an E-Waste Day on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Residents can utilize the transfer stations to drop off E-Waste for free and do not need a Santa Fe County Solid Waste permit.
The following Santa Fe County Transfer Stations will be the collection location centers:
- Eldorado
- Jacona
- La Cienega
- Nambe
- San Marcos
- Stanley
- Tesuque
Santa Fe County will accept the following:
Old computers, laptops, computer peripherals, electronic equipment, printers, ink cartridges, copiers, fax machines, scanners, hand-held electronic devices, cameras, CD/DVD players, telephones, cell phones, televisions and CRT monitors (old style computer monitors).
*Transfer stations will still accept all other waste on April 13 in addition to the e-waste collection materials. If residents are dropping off their regular waste, they will need to use their Solid Waste Transfer station permit.
