Ground Breaking Ceremony for Regional Edgewood Fire Station

Santa Fe, NM – October 9, 2012 – Santa Fe County Commissioner Robert A. Anaya would like to invite all residents to a Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new Regional Edgewood Fire Station at 217 NM 344 on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 12 p.m.

Town of Edgewood Mayor, Brad Hill, Santa Fe County Fire Chief, David Sperling, Assistant State Land Commissioner, Mike D. Anaya and New Mexico State Land Commissioner, Ray Powell will provide comments at the ceremony.

“The Santa Fe County fire station being built in Edgewood is a collective effort between The Town of Edgewood, Santa Fe County, the State Land Office and the Community and will help serve the needs of the public in the tri-county region,” said County Commissioner Robert A. Anaya.

The Regional Edgewood Fire Station is the fourth regional fire station constructed by Santa Fe County and will be 14,998 square feet. The Edgewood station is expected to be complete in August 2013.
