Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day This Sunday
Santa Fe County invites residents to the 10th annual Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day this Sunday, May 17th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station (BuRRT) on 2600 Buckman Road. Hazardous Household Waste (HHW) is any product labeled with words like caution, warning, poison, combustible, and flammable. HHW is commonly generated from spring cleaning, auto/home improvement and hobby products.
No commercial or small business waste will be accepted. E-waste is accepted every business day except on HHW Day.
The event is sponsored by Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency, City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County and Keep Santa Fe Beautiful.
