Information for Itinerant Vendors for the Santuario Pilgrimage
Santa Fe, NM – March 31, 2014 – The Santa Fe County Growth Management Department would like to remind Santuario Pilgrimage vendors that are planning on selling food or souvenirs they are required to have a County license. The license for this event will be valid from Thursday, April 17 through Sunday, April 20 and will cost $10.
Applications should be submitted approximately two weeks in advance (Thursday, April 3). Vendors will need the following items to obtain a license:
A completed application formA notarized letter from the owner of the property where they will be locatedFood vendors will need to submit a copy of their permit from the State Environmental Department
No vending will be permitted on State and County Right-Of-Ways. Santa Fe and Rio Arriba County staff will be patrolling to ensure vending is not impeding traffic on the dates specified above.
“Santa Fe and Rio Arriba County are making a good faith effort to provide an opportunity for vendors to legally do business during this event. The most important element is to not impact public safety by parking on State and County Right-Of-Ways, blocking the flow of traffic. Everyone needs to have sufficient access including walkers making the Pilgrimage, emergency responders and law enforcement,” says Wayne Dalton, Building and Development Supervisor.
