Join Us for a Series of Agriculture Resource Inventory Roundtable Discussions

Santa Fe County will be hosting roundtable discussions as a part of the Agriculture Resource Inventory regarding crop and ranching production, economic opportunity and agricultural resources in Santa Fe County. The roundtable discussions are part of the Agriculture and Ranching Implementation Plan’s on-going initiative to engage with partners and community members to understand a broad perspective of agricultural needs throughout the County in order to support the region’s agricultural viability.

‘Crop Production’ roundtable discussion
Saturday, October 15 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

‘Local Food Buyer’ roundtable discussion
Wednesday, November 9th, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

‘Ranching’ roundtable discussion
Date, Time, and Location To be Determined

Information gathered from these roundtable discussions will be compiled into a local food buyer guide, an agricultural resource guide, and a map of agricultural production.
These resources will be available to community members, policy makers, business owners, researchers, and agricultural producers for the purposes of building economic opportunity, resiliency and networks in the local foodshed.
