Join Us for the 2011 Santa Fe County Fair

Santa Fe, NM – August 2, 2011 – Santa Fe County would like to invite all residents to enjoy the festivities of the Santa Fe County Fair at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Rd. The fair will begin Thursday, August 4 and will conclude on Sunday, August 7. The Fair is FREE fun for the entire family to enjoy.

There will be live entertainment, a Quilt Exhibit, Model Train Display, Livestock Shows, a Dog Show, Salsa Contest, Livestock Auction, Chile Challenge, Small Animal Pet Show, Barnyard Olympics, great food and you can even Meet a Mule just to name a few. Thursday, August 4

10 a.m. Rabbit Show

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cattle Show

5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Swine Show

All indoor exhibits open to the public from noon to 8 p.m.

Friday, August 5

8 a.m. to Noon Poultry Show

9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sheep Show

All indoor exhibits open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, August 6

8:30 a.m. 4-H Dog Show Registration

9 a.m. 4-H Dog Show

2 p.m. Registration for Salsa Contest

 2:30 p.m. Salsa Contest

4 p.m. Livestock Auction

All indoor exhibits open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, August 7

9 a.m. Meet a Mule Demonstration

10 a.m. Registration for Chile Challenge

10:30 a.m. Registration for Small Animal Pet Show

11 a.m. Chile Challenge and the Small Animal Pet Show

1:30 p.m. Barnyard Olympics

All indoor exhibits open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
