Join Us for the 2012 Santa Fe County Fair

Santa Fe, NM – August 2, 2012 - Santa Fe County would like to invite all residents to enjoy the festivities of the Santa Fe County Fair at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Rd. The fair will begin Thursday, August 2 and will conclude on Sunday, August 5.

The Fair is FREE fun for the entire family to enjoy. Just to name a few there will be live entertainment, Livestock Shows, a Dog Show, Livestock Auction, Pet Show, Barnyard Olympics, Meet a Mule Demonstration and great food!

Chile Challenge

Do you have a great chile recipe that must be shared? Or perhaps you are a great chile expert? Put your recipes and taste buds to the test, Sunday, August 5th. Registration begins at 11:30 am, contest begins at noon.

Salsa Contest

It's a great time to show off some of that hot stuff. Try out your favorite salsa recipe or share your family's secret recipe with us. Join us Saturday, August 4th at 2 pm and compete with some of the best salsa makers in Santa Fe County!

10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Indoor exhibits open to the public

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Meat Goat Show- Livestock Show Ring, followed by Dairy Goat Demonstration

2 p.m. – 3p.m. NM 4-H Centennial Celebration Event

4 p.m. Round Robin Showmanship Contest-

Saturday, August 4

8:30 a.m. 4-H Dog Show Registration

9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Demonstration Room Open

9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Indoor exhibits open to the public

9 a.m. 4-H Dog Show

10 a.m. Herding dog demonstration

2 p.m. Registration for Salsa Contest

2:30 p.m. Salsa Contest

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Livestock Buyers’ Reception and NM 4-H Centennial Celebration Event

4 p.m. Livestock Auction

Sunday, August 5
