Join Us for the 2013 Santa Fe County Fair

Santa Fe County would like to invite all residents to enjoy the festivities of the Santa Fe County Fair at the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds, 3229 Rodeo Rd. The fair will begin Thursday, August 8 and will conclude on Sunday, August 11.

The Fair is FREE fun for the entire family to enjoy. Just to name a few fun activities and events, there will be live entertainment, Livestock Shows, a Dog Show, Livestock Auction, Pet Show, Barnyard Olympics, Meet a Mule Demonstration and great food!

Salsa Contest

It's a great time to show off some of that hot stuff. Try out your favorite salsa recipe or share your family's secret recipe with us. Join us Saturday, August 10, registration is between 2:00pm-2:30pm, and compete with some of the best salsa makers in Santa Fe County!

Chile Challenge

Do you have a great chile recipe that must be shared? Or perhaps you are a great chile expert? Put your recipes and taste buds to the test, Sunday, August 11. Registration begins at 11:30am and the contest begins at noon.

Come see the Stanley Cattle Guards Perform

Kick up your boots and dance to the traditional country sounds of the Stanley Cattle Guards, based in Stanley, New Mexico. Members from the band include Santa Fe County’s very own Commissioner Robert Anaya, former Commissioner Mike Anaya, Public Works Deputy Director Robert Martinez and Electrician Supervisor, Basil Davis. The band will be performing Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 beginning at 8:00 pm-12:00 midnight at the Fairgrounds.
