Join Us for the “How to See the Forest from the Trees” Discussion, June 14
Santa Fe, NM – June 12, 2014 - Santa Fe County would like to invite residents to the “How to see the Forest from the Trees” discussion on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the New Mexico State Land Office in the Morgan Hall, at 310 Old Santa Fe Trail from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Santa Fe County is co-sponsoring this event with the Santa Fe-Pojoaque Soil and Water Conservation District. It will include a candid discussion about the state of our forests, drought, and the role that forest management plays in the lives of New Mexicans for the protection of our watersheds, water supplies and the people who live in the wildland/urban interface.
“This is a great opportunity to get information out and have a community discussion relevant to the current situation we are living in, with drought conditions and wildland urban interface,” said Robert Griego, Santa Fe County Planning Manager.
