Drop off your old appliances free of charge Saturday, April 9 at Appliance Drop-Off Day. Keep Santa Fe Beautiful (KSFB), the city of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County are sponsoring Appliance Drop-Off Day, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City of Santa Fe Parks Division, 1142 Siler Road.
Bring old appliances that are taking up space in your garage or on your back porch. Washers and dryers, ranges, water heaters, dishwashers and freezers will all be accepted. Also, scrap metal rims (without the tires please) and metal construction debris can also be dropped-off.
“This event is an opportunity to get rid of large appliances while also helping to preserve valuable landfill space,” said KSFB Coordinator Gilda Montaño.
After 1 p.m. items can be taken to Capitol Scrap Metal, 1162 Cooks Lane.
