Keep Santa Fe Beautiful is Sponsoring E-Waste Recycling Drop-Off Day April 2 and
Appliance Drop-Off Day April 9
Santa Fe-March 31, 2011– Keep Santa Fe Beautiful is sponsoring an E- Waste Recycling drop-off day at 1142 Siler Road on April 2, 2011 and an Appliance Drop-Off Day on April 9.
April 2 E-Waste Recycling Drop-Off Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ONLY
On this day Santa Fe residents can drop off unused computers, CRT monitors (old-style computer monitors $5 charge per monitor) computer peripherals, electronic equipment, cell phones and televisions ($10 charge per television). Drop off is at 1142 Siler Road.
April 9 Appliance Drop Off Day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ONLY
On the appliance Drop Off Day Santa Fe residents can drop off refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers in addition to appliances scrap metal rims (without the tires) and metal construction debris at 1142 Siler Road. After 1 p.m., items can be taken to Capitol Scrap Metal at 1162 Cooks Lane.
Keep Santa Fe Beautiful is a not-for-profit educational organization that sponsors environmental awareness and education programs.
