to support and benefit The Food Depot on September 15th, 2018

We are sending this note to our community contacts and many community organizations to help spread the word about this exciting annual event. Please consider joining with the many Santa Fe Area neighborhoods and communities for this important community supported event.

The Food Depot needs help to feed the 18,490 food insecure people and 67,190 hungry children in Santa Fe County. As the largest annual one day food drive, this event will hopefully bring in 200,000 lbs. of food, helping to supply some of the 450,000 meals that The Food Depot distributes each month.

Here are some ways that you can get involved and help spread the word:
• Promote the food drive through your list serve or newsletter and tell people where to drop off food on September 15th at a designated location
• The Food Depot also accepts monetary donations via mail as part of the Neighbor to Neighbor effort
• Community members and food drive participants can donate both food items (drop-off) and a monetary donation (mail-in)

Kick-off Party June 28, 2018
In preparation for this year’s community event, the official Neighbor to Neighbor 2018 Organizing Kick Off Party is on June 28, 2018 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at The Food Depot. Please RSVP for the Kick-off event by June 22, 2018

The Food drive will be held on September 15, 2018, food and donation drop off will be 8 am-noon.
