Memorial Dedication for Ernest Thompson Seton
Santa Fe, NM – September 8, 2011- County Commissioner Kathy Holian would like to invite all Santa Fe County residents to the memorial sign dedication of Ernest Thompson Seton on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the Seton Village Plaza. The dedication is being held in conjunction with the annual Seton Village Pie Bake.
Ernest Thompson Seton moved to New Mexico in 1930 and is known as an activist for Native American causes, as a naturalist, author, painter and storyteller.
"The Pie Bake is a wonderful annual event that unites our community and it seemed like the perfect time to have the dedication to Ernest Thompson Seton, who truly represented this community," said Commissioner Kathy Holian.
