Santa Fe County in association with New Mexico Department of Transpiration (NMDOT) is initiating a study for future roadway connections in the area of Rancho Viejo and the Santa Fe Community College. The Northeast and Southeast Connectors are both included in the long-range Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Santa Fe region.

The NE Connector alignment may connect Dinosaur Trail to Rabbit Road, south of I-25. The SE Connector may connect E. Chili Line Rd. to Rabbit Road. Connections to Avenida del Sur and College Drive are being considered. Alternatives are being developed for both connectors to provide multi-modal accommodations, reduce traffic congestion and provide traffic relief to Richards Ave.
