New Solar System at La Tierra Fire Station
The new 8.8 kilowatt rooftop solar system at La Tierra Fire Station (Agua Fria Fire Station #2) has been up and running for over two months now and is producing 40-50 kWh of electricity a day, enough to offset the electric usage of 2 average NM homes.
Next up for solar is the Edgewood Fire Station, where construction is slated to begin later this summer.
