Non-emergency Numbers For Residents Who Need Assistance Related To Severe Weather

If residents need assistance related to the severe weather they can call the non-emergency numbers, either 505-428-3710 or 505-428-3730 . Dispatch will create a service call for the instances specifically related the severe weather and advise the caller that they will be contacted regarding either assistance or with instructions and advice regarding their situation. Severe weather calls will be relayed to the appropriate Fire Battalion Chiefs so adequate response can be determined. The calls will also be tracked for follow-up action by the appropriate RECC management staff.

Residents are reminded -

Do NOT use unvented heaters, grills, propane or kerosene heaters or camp stoves inside homes or enclosed spaces as these can result in carbon monoxide poisoning.

Please check on your neighbors and friends, especially the elderly, sick or homebound.
